  • What is TrackMyFone?

    TrackMyFone is a smartphone and tablet monitoring application. Once installed, it transmits all of the device’s data, including GPS location, onto a web based control panel.

  • How does TrackMyFone work?

    You need to install TrackMyFone onto the device you wish to monitor. After that, you’ll be provided with your account details which you enter on the control panel. From here, you’d be able to see and monitor all of the device’s data. You can access the control panel from your own computer or phone.

  • Does TrackMyFone work on all mobile phones?

    TrackMyFone works on all Android smartphones and tablets, and all iPads and iPhones. To check if it will work on your device, you can check out our Compatibility page.

  • How can I get TrackMyFone?

    To get TrackMyFone, go to the Buy Now page, or click on any Buy Now button anywhere on the website.

  • Where can I get TrackMyFone?

    You can purchase TrackMyFone from this website only.

  • Is it legal to buy and use TrackMyFone?

    Yes, it is legal to use TrackMyFone for:

    • Monitoring your children under the age of 18
    • Monitoring the company-owned devices that your employees use with their consent

    For any form of monitoring of a device, you need proper authorization. However it is your responsibility to determine whether you have the authorization and whether the use complies to local regulations and jurisdiction.

  • How to use TMF on a Non-jailbreak iPhone ?
    • Does my iPhone or iPad require a jailbreak?

      • NO. Your iOS devices can work with Trackmyfone without the need of Jailbreak. Only icloud ID and password from the target device is required to avail the services.

    • Do I need to install Trackmyfone on the target device

      • Trackmyfone can work without installing anything onto the target device. Only icloud credentials are required to monitor the target iPhone or iPad. Note that for Trackmyfone’s Jailbreak-free version to work, iCloud backup needs to be toggled on.

    • How often data from the target device is uploaded to my account?

      • Your Trackmyfone account will be updated every 24 hours after the last iCloud backup. iCloud automatically backups data if the target device is plugged in, locked and connected to Wi-Fi. Uploaded data will be displayed on the control panel after 3 automatic backups. You can check the backup details: settings→ iCloud→ Storage and Backup→ Last Backup

    • How to backup iCloud?

      • Data will be automatically backed up from the target device to Trackmyfone’s control panel every 24 hours, as soon as 3 automatic iCloud backups take place. Data on iCloud will only backup if the device is plugged in, connected to Wi-Fi and locked. To determine if iCloud backup is enabled See FAQ#2 To check the details about the last backup settings→ iCloud→ Storage and Backup→ Last Backup Wi-Fi setting can be changed: Settings→ Wi-Fi→ Green→ Choose Network Note: The default iCloud storage is 5 GB. If it’s full, Trackmyfone will not be able to function. To check storage space available: Settings→ iCloud→ Storage and Backup

  • How to use TMF on a jailbreak iPhone ?
    • How do I install it onto my child/employee’s phone?

      • You will have to get hold of their smartphone or tablet for a few minutes and physically install TrackMyFone into them. You won’t need physical access to their device after that—you can view the data in control panel.

    • Can I install the app without physical access to the device?

      • No, there is no way you can install the app in that manner. You will need physical access to the device and install TrackMyFone yourself. But you won’t have to get hold of their phones after that.

    • Do I need to jailbreak the iPhone to install TrackMyFone?

      • Yes, the iPhone you wish to monitor needs to be jailbroken for TrackMyFone to work.

    • Do I need to install something else on the phone for TrackMyFone to work?

      • No, you don’t need to install anything else for TrackMyFone to work. Your iPhone needs to be Jailbroken and your Android device needs to be rooted for certain features to work. Check out our Features List to see what features require rooting and jailbreak.
